Peraton is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our Colorado Springs facility to manage receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials and finished products. You will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure traceability, and coordinate with carriers to meet delivery schedules.

Formación

• High School diploma with 1 or more years of related shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory transactions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to safely handle, package, and move materials and products.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Receives incoming materials, supplies, components, and customer-provided parts, verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspects incoming and outgoing shipments for visible damage, discrepancies, and proper identification.
• Prepares, packages, labels, and processes outgoing shipments in accordance with customer requirements and established procedures.
• Generates and maintains shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips, shipping labels, and material traceability records.
• Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and internal departments to support delivery schedules.
• Proper material handling and safety practices.
