New Tech Machinery in Aurora, CO is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to verify shipments, pull items, and maintain accurate records. You will interpret part numbers, operate ERP and UPS WorldShip, and help uphold quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Responsibilities include coordinating with departments and carriers to meet ship dates, generating documents, resolving shipping issues, and supporting international orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or military experience a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Must pass background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate ERP system and UPS WorldShip; maintain shipping records.
• Prepare, complete and process paperwork; enter ship quantities in the system.
• Coordinate activities with departments and carriers to meet ship dates.
• Participate in the quality program to improve performance.
• Establish quality assurance standards and report issues.
• Resolve shipping issues such as mis-shipments, shortages, damage, and charges.
• Handle calls regarding shipment with carriers, sales and operations.
• Generate shipping documents and commercial invoices.
• Investigate freight claims and disposition.
• Oversee international orders and timely shipments.
