Job summary

Houston Precision Fasteners is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to align shipping and receiving with production requirements. You will work with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet customer specifications, update orders, and arrange various shipping methods to support on-time delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and familiarity with aerospace materials.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 2-4 years in a fast-paced environment.
2-5 years of related experience.
Advanced MS Office and ERP systems proficiency.
Experience with aerospace materials a plus.
Strong process and systems analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day shipping and receiving activities to meet customer specs.
Update purchase orders and arrange shipping methods to maintain production schedules.
Verify order completeness and material specifications against documentation.
Review supplier invoices against bids and purchase orders for accuracy.
Maintain knowledge of applicable policies and regulations relevant to shipping operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all tasks.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required and participate in safety meetings.
Support distribution of shop supplies and maintain organized records.
