Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical support for the North American fleet, liaising with customers, technicians and P145 repair stations. The role involves quick issue resolution, data analysis, and collaboration with Italy to improve fleet reliability and maintainability.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering and prior aerospace experience, with fluent Spanish and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level engineering background required.
  • Experience with aerospace or aviation is essential.

  • Fluency in Spanish is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Technical front-end analysis and resolution of issues with North American fleet.
  • Support Fleet Control Center with AOG resolutions and weekend coverage.
  • Input and analyze field data to drive product improvements.
  • Maintain liaison with Italy for fleet-wide knowledge base of issues and solutions.
  • Validate technical instructions to improve airworthiness publications.
  • Provide regular safety and issue reporting to management.
  • Analyze aircraft configurations to highlight spare parts and training needs.
  • Develop maintenance, repair and assembly procedures beyond standard publications.
  • Use field data to influence Product Improvement Process for maintainability.
  • Present major issues and solutions to management and support accident investigations.
