Job summary

RTX’s Colorado Springs Ejection Seating Division leads in design, development, and manufacturing of ACES ejection seats used on multiple aircraft worldwide. You will join the SEIT team onsite in Colorado Springs to support daily tasks and learn the full engineering lifecycle of a critical product.

Learn systems engineering practices, evaluate customer needs, define performance requirements, and participate in test planning, data analysis, and verification documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Join the Ejection Seating Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) team to support daily tasking and gain exposure to all phases of the engineering development lifecycle.
• Learn test engineering methodologies including test planning, preparation, data analysis and verification documentation; may support test engineers with test execution.
