Job summary

RTX in Colorado Springs invites students to join the Ejection Seating Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) team onsite. You will support daily tasks while gaining exposure across the engineering lifecycle of ACES ejection seats used on multiple aircraft worldwide.

As an intern or co-op, you will learn systems engineering practices, assist in defining performance requirements, document architecture and verify them, and explore test planning, data analysis and verification activities.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by start of internship/co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Join the Ejection Seating SEIT team to support daily tasks and expose you to the engineering lifecycle of a real-world product.
• Learn systems engineering practices, evaluate customer needs, define performance requirements, document architecture and verify requirements.
• Learn test engineering methodologies including test planning, preparation, data analysis and verification documentation.
