Job summary

Allied Universal in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Surveillance to protect and serve in an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor, deter and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service and maintaining secure access points.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and report them to the appropriate personnel.
