Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS. The role involves conducting routine patrols at aerospace/defense locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting access control, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21 (armed), possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of aircraft-related facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
