Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a Secondary Operator in Avon, Ohio. You will perform deburring, drilling, tapping, threading, and other secondary operations with accuracy and safety. You will read work orders and blueprints to determine required operations and maintain tools to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, basic English, and the ability to work under production deadlines as part of a team. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Language skills: basic English comprehension for safety communications and records.
• Mathematical skills: basic counting and math.
• Other skills/abilities: ability to work under production deadlines, teamwork.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, drilling, tapping, threading, and other secondary operations.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Maintain tools and replace as needed to meet specifications.
• Record operational or production data.
• Load and unload items from carts, crates, and palettes.
• Position products in equipment or on surfaces for processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Move products to the next operation.
