Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and self-starting Solutions Architect to drive adoption of AWS services for aerospace and satellite solutions globally.

The role can be located anywhere within the contiguous United States, in an AWS office, and involves owning technical engagements, developing blueprints, and enabling pilots with partners and customers. The ideal candidate will possess deep space domain expertise, software architecture, and cloud/distributed computing skills,

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in space domain, software architecture, systems design and cloud/distributed computing.
• Strong business and customer-facing skills are required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement with Aerospace and Satellite Solutions customers/partners.
• Develop technical blueprints, architectures, and quick start templates to accelerate solution development.
• Enable prototype and pilot projects in collaboration with business development teams.
• Coordinate feature requests with AWS service teams and assist technically in customer projects.
• Write reference architectures and configuration guides; develop courses and trainings.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge with the Solution Architect community.
