Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The Process Technician role focuses on processing satellites through receiving, electrical checkouts, and rigging tasks to support launch readiness.

The position requires reading technical drawings, using precision tools, and maintaining safety standards. Primarily a second-shift role with travel as needed; candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, long shifts, and a high-detail orientation for high-reliability

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts (up to 12 hours).
Experience with precision measuring devices (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, multimeters).
Experience in aerospace/launch or high-reliability environments is preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Primarily second-shift, but shift schedule may vary with production/launch schedules.
Process satellites through receiving and electrical checkouts.
Independently execute and prioritize work to meet production schedules.
Rigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive flight hardware.
Obtain and maintain required licenses, permits, and certifications.
Use precision tools and measure instruments for inspections.
Read engineering drawings and documentation and follow procedures.
