Kelly Services is hiring a Sandblaster in the aerospace manufacturing sector in South Windsor, CT. You will perform burnishing and abrasive blasting to ensure surfaces meet stringent coating and finishing standards before final processing.

Responsibilities include operating blasting equipment, handling media, inspecting parts, and maintaining safety procedures. The role supports a team in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior burnishing or abrasive blasting experience is preferred.
• Experience with blasting cabinets and powered equipment is helpful.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate burnishing cabinets, blasting booths, or walk-in blasting equipment.
• Load and unload burnishing cabinets with glass bead or other blasting media.
• Perform burnishing on parts to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct abrasive blasting and surface finishing on various components.
• Visually inspect parts before, during, and after blasting or burnishing.
• Maintain safety practices and follow aerospace manufacturing procedures.
