Job summary

BARNES AEROSPACE, Ogden Division is seeking a Sandblaster to prep and finish metal surfaces in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will manually sandblast to remove scale, grease and debris, controlling abrasive flow and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires following specifications, safe operation of equipment, and teamwork in a clean, compliant environment with shift hours starting early morning.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow customer specifications.
• Must regulate controls on all equipment used.
• Experience operating sandblaster equipment with safety gear.
• Wear respirator for extended periods; work in enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manually abrades surfaces with sandblasting equipment to meet specifications.
• Shovel or pour sand into machine and recycle materials.
• Load parts on racks and regulate abrasive flow.
• Visually inspect parts for compliance with specs.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and assist others.
