Job summary

Acutronic is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Aerospace Components Division in Austin, TX. The role focuses on responding to customer requirements, generating technical proposals, and promoting products to grow revenues.

This position emphasizes collaboration with Engineering and Project Management to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least two years of aerospace sales experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• At least two years of sales experience in the aerospace components industry is preferred.
• Combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to generate technical proposals, costs backup sheets, quotation documents, budgetary estimates, cover letters, compliance matrices, and other customer requested documentation.
• Approach existing and new customers to promote the Aerospace Component Division products to grow revenues and manage risks.
• Follow-up on open opportunities to understand order timing, budget, and likelihood.
• Assist in capturing major opportunities for the Aerospace Components Division.
• Transfer orders to Engineering, Project and Program Management to define customer requirements.
