Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead safety modernization at our Center operations. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, audits, training oversight, and active risk management in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in safety, IH, or PSM, with expertise in OSHA, industrial hygiene, and regulatory compliance. A Master’s degree is preferred, and a Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Safety Management, or related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Health or Industrial Hygiene preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in safety management, IH or PSM within manufacturing/aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document internal safety audits for compliance.
• Develop and manage safety programs including IH, hazard communication, PPE.
• Oversee PSM activities, change control, hot work permits, contractor safety.
• Design and deliver safety training; maintain training records.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses and lead root-cause investigations.
• Perform air monitoring, noise surveys; recommend controls.
• Maintain OSHA records and ensure regulatory reporting.
