Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in OH/Env Health/Safety; Master’s preferred.
• CIH or CSP certification required.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, document internal safety audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs (industrial hygiene, hazard communication, respiratory protection, ergonomics).
• Oversee PSM activities including change control, hot work permits, and contractor safety oversight.
• Design and deliver safety training (confined space, LOTO, PPE, fire safety) and maintain training records.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses to identify risks and implement controls.
• Lead root cause analyses for injuries/illnesses and ensure corrective actions.
• Perform air monitoring, noise surveys, and related assessments; recommend controls.
• Maintain OSHA records (OSHA 300 logs) and ensure regulatory reporting.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaborate with management and operations to align with goals.
• Assist with external audits and inspections, including workers' comp and general liability.
