X-Bow Systems in Socorro, NM is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead safety programs and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing/aerospace setting. The role emphasizes audits, training oversight, incident investigations, and risk reduction across operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in safety management, explosives safety experience, and OSHA expertise. A CIH/CSP and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or Safety Management.
• 5+ years in safety management within manufacturing or aerospace.
• Explosives safety experience required.
• CIH or CSP certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Plan, conduct, and document internal safety audits for OSHA compliance.
• Develop and manage safety programs including industrial hygiene and PPE.
• Oversee Process Safety Management activities and hot work permits.
• Design and deliver safety training and maintain records.
• Lead Job Hazard Analyses and incident investigations using root-cause methods.
• Perform air monitoring and noise surveys; recommend controls.
• Maintain OSHA records and support external audits.
