Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Repair Structures Intern to contribute to the evaluation of engine component repairs and structural criteria. You will assist in assessments, coordinate analyses, and work with CIPT teams.

The internship offers exposure to aerospace engineering challenges, collaboration with experienced engineers, and hands-on experience in structural analysis relevant to aircraft propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework, projects, or on-the-job experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural assessments of repairs for engine components.
• Assist evaluation of structural criteria such as LCF, fracture, strength, creep, and vibration.
• Coordinate structural analysis requirements for repairs with CIPT/Module centers.
