Job summary

Pratt & Whitney offers an internship in Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering Repair Engineering, with placements in Repair Design, Repair Structures, or Repair Project Engineering. You will be part of a multi-discipline IPT to set repair requirements, ensure safety and durability, and align with OEM standards.

The internship emphasizes hands-on experience in an aerospace setting, collaboration across teams, and learning how repairs impact cost and schedule within RTX’s broader ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

• Work on repair design, repair structures, or repair project engineering to meet OEM requirements.
• Collaborate with IPT to establish repair requirements and ensure repairs are safe and durable.
• Support on-time completion and alignment with cost, schedule, and priority targets.
