Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Structures Intern/Co-op to help invent the future of flight. You will support production and NPI teams, gain hands-on experience with flight hardware, and learn traditional to non-traditional machining and inspection methods in the repair sector of CES.

Work alongside engineers to drive improvements and document progress. The internship emphasizes analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with exposure to CAD tools like NX or SolidWorks, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• Willingness to work at the Aircraft Component Service Center (ACSC) in Springdale, OH.
• Reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support repair engineering and shop operations for rotating engine components.
• Assist with technical evaluations of hardware and repair records.
• Participate in root cause analysis of machine and process issues, partnering with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct statistical analysis of machines and process data to identify trends, gaps versus requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
