Job summary

The Boeing Company in Smithfield, PA seeks an entry to mid-level Product Repair and Modification Technician to support production and test lines for Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Defense/Space. You will perform assembly, disassembly, repair, and verification of aerospace components according to engineering drawings.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in aircraft component repair, are willing to work 1st or 2nd shifts, and can read technical drawings. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience assembling, disassembling, or repairing aircraft components.
• Minimum 1 year as aerospace functional test operator (ESS testing) or equivalent.
• Willing to work 1st and/or 2nd shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and troubleshoot aerospace assemblies per drawings and specs.
• Remove/replace components for repair or testing to support serviceability (Repair Station).
• Document repairs and test results with established procedures to ensure compliance.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for modification work.
• Ensure correct tolerances and complete validation/verification testing.
