Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is recruiting for a contract technician to support Boeing projects. The role involves disassembling system components, basic troubleshooting, testing, and fabrication to spec, with safety responsibilities for aerospace equipment and supervision-based work.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to obtain a security clearance, and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts. Proficiency with basic tools and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start.
• Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd).
• 1+ years of experience with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support correction of failures or changes.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Assists with tasks related to the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle.
• Works under supervision.
