Job summary

The Boeing Company in Smithfield, PA is seeking a Product Repair and Modification Technician to support production and test lines for Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Defense Space and Security. You will perform assembly, disassembly, repair, testing and documentation of aerospace components to meet specifications and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include 1 year of aircraft component experience, willingness to work 1st shift, and FAA Airframe and Powerplant license

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience assembling, disassembling, or repairing aircraft components.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an aircraft component functional test operator (ESS testing).
Willing and able to work 1st and/or 2nd shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Assemble, disassemble and troubleshoot numerous assemblies by changing, removing and replacing aerospace components.
Remove and replace components for repair, replacement or testing to support product serviceability (Repair Station).
Document repairs, test results and modifications with established processes and procedures.
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to advise technicians.
Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of product modification and adherence to procedures.
Maintain awareness of safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
