Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial partners with a leader in aviation to hire an experienced Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician at Joint Base Charleston, SC. This full-time contract role involves repairing, modifying, testing, and inspecting advanced aerospace systems to ensure peak performance and mission readiness.

The role requires 3+ years reading blueprints, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work variable shifts with compliance to GOP and air respirator certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with typically 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience identifying hazardous conditions and maintaining safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, modify, remove, replace, and upgrade aerospace vehicle components.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, overhaul, and modification activities.
• Configure vehicles and bench test equipment for maintenance and testing operations.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems to resolve faults.
• Document repair activities, test results, and inspections for compliance.
