Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic at Joint Base Charleston, SC. This full-time, 12-month contract position focuses on beyond-line-of-sight aircraft modifications and complex aerospace systems in a quality-driven environment.

You will perform assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, inspection, and testing to ensure flightworthiness and regulatory compliance. Expect to travel up to 50% for domestic and international assignments as required.

• Support the assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of aircraft systems and components.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation and verification testing on aircraft systems and components.
• Inspect components and verify repairs meet flightworthiness requirements.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Contract with Potential for Extension

Work Environment: Onsite

Pay Rate: $47.21 per hour

Schedule: Primarily 1st Shift, with ability to support 2nd Shift as needed

1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

Travel: Up to 50% Domestic & International

Regular and predictable attendance is required.
