Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, PR offers a Monday–Friday Co-Op from January to June, embedded in Repair Development Engineering. You will learn to design repairs, interpret drawings, and work with engineers to restore parts to serviceable condition.

Requirements: enrolled in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering with a 3.0 GPA and U.S. citizenship. Hybrid onsite schedule applies with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Position may require access to systems/tools restricted to U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

• Design repair processes meeting regulatory requirements.
• Interpret part drawings and inspections for repairs.
• Identify part distress and select repair methods to return parts to serviceable condition.
• Research operating environments and component performance.
• Collaborate on repair prototyping, audits, and strategy development.
• Create engineering documents and status reports for customers and management.
