Job summary

RTX is offering a Co-op internship in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, combining on-site and remote work in a hybrid setup. The program runs January through June, with housing relocation not offered.

You will participate in fatigue and fracture mechanics tasks, supporting structural engineering for engine programs and customer projects, while learning under experienced mentors. Applicants must be enrolled in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Support lifing systems and structural analysis tools to enable safe, reliable designs.
• Aid in vibration, fatigue, and fracture mechanics tasks to support customers on structural engineering of new designs and engine development plans.
• Maintain trust of regulatory and military customers with respect to structural integrity through reporting.
