Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for a Co-Op internship at the Aguadilla, PR location. The role requires the student to reside in Puerto Rico at the start date, with a hybrid schedule (on-site 3 days, remote 2 days) and relocation not offered.

You'll coordinate project administration, support budgeting and proposals, and work with engineering teams to advance program objectives. Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
• Assist with preparation of proposals, business plans, statements of work, budgets, and contract terms.
• Monitor project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in engineering activities that support project objectives.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, staffing requirements, and action-item lists to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Communicate in English with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who speak English.
