Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or technical high school diploma or the equivalent in a trade school.
• Experience in repair/assembly environments or similar shops is beneficial.
• Ability to perform basic shop math, including decimals and fractions.
• Experience using measuring gauges such as calipers and micrometers.

Aufgaben

• Follow written and verbal instructions including OEM manuals and drawings.
• Use hand-held power and non-power tools for various operations.
• Blend metals, perform welding, plating, and coating operations as needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine components and related assemblies.
• Drill, tap, re-drill holes; operate drill presses and small machines as required.
• Interpret dimensions using measuring devices and inspect finished work.
• Communicate with engineers and supervisors to improve results.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with shop procedures.
