Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to mature the asset reliability program for a large aerospace facility in the US. The role requires hands-on facilities maintenance expertise and experience in HVAC, compressed air, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing facilities maintenance and reliability OR advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience developing maintenance reliability programs from undeveloped state.
• Hands-on knowledge of facilities equipment including HVAC, compressed air, and electrical distribution.
• SAP PM module experience and functional location/equipment setup.

Responsibilities

• Refine PM task frequencies and failure mode logic within the site's criticality framework.
• Apply differentiated maintenance logic to N+1 systems (e.g., chillers, pumps, air handlers).
• Maintain and improve maintenance work standards across critical equipment.
• Track reliability KPIs: preventive to reactive ratio, schedule compliance, MTBF, backlog aging.
