Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Program Fleet Chief to lead the fleet-wide customer health view with emphasis on safety, reliability and timely communications. You will collaborate with Engineering and Field offices, run the FAA FAR 21.3 process, and drive root-cause analyses to address issues affecting the fleet and customers.

Based onsite in East Hartford, CT, the role requires a strong engineering/PM background and a track record of cross-functional leadership in aerospace programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years experience or Advanced Degree with 7+ years in engineering, operations and program management.
Strong leadership and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with aviation safety processes and engine-related technical information is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain reliability and dependability of the engine program.
Lead customer-facing activities and manage engineering collaboration.
Run FAA FAR 21.3 process and reportable events with FAA coordination.
Identify root causes and address safety or airworthiness issues via fleet actions.
Prepare briefings for airline operators and interface with airframers on fleet events.
