Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Receiving Inspector II to verify incoming aerospace hardware, raw materials, and assemblies against drawings and PO requirements. You will review FAIs and documentation, select precision measurement tools, and ensure full traceability within the QMS.

You will collaborate with engineers, buyers, and manufacturing to communicate findings, support dispositions, and uphold safety and quality in flight-critical hardware.

Qualifications

• 3+ years aerospace inspection experience in production or receiving inspection.
• Proficiency in interpreting AS9102 and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to operate precision inspection equipment and document results.

Responsibilities

• Execute component inspections per approved inspection plans and verify conformance.
• Review First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 requirements.
• Review supplier documentation: CoCs, MTRs, inspection records.
• Document nonconformances and maintain traceability in QMS.
• Communicate inspection data and status to Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing.
