Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA is hiring an R&D Lab Test Technician in Garden Grove, CA. The role focuses on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic testing of prototype and production fittings in our aerospace lab, following established test procedures and safety standards.

You will prepare test setups, record results, assist engineers with data and reports, and participate in developing new lab procedures while upholding HSE practices and ITAR compliance as required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; familiarity with aerospace standards is preferred.
• Proven ability to perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tests on test articles in a lab setting.
• Experience with writing lab test reports and developing procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect test parts for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Set up test units and subassemblies; perform mechanical and hydraulic tests; record results.
• Assist R&D engineers with lab reports and procedure development.
• Identify calibration needs and maintain lab equipment; ensure safety and compliance.
