Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in North Hollywood, CA is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to overhaul and maintain the QMS, lead AS9100 compliance, audits, and regulatory obligations across operations, engineering, and supply chain.

You will coordinate Nadcap programs, manage internal audits and corrective actions, drive continuous improvement, and mentor quality engineers to uphold the company’s standards and customer requirements in a demanding aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, quality, manufacturing, aerospace, business, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Five years in Quality Systems leadership, QA, compliance, or quality management.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and continuously improve the AS9100 QMS across the organization.
• Lead external audits, certification, and compliance programs (AS9100, FAA, customer, registrar, government).
• Maintain audit readiness and oversee surveillance activities; manage corrective actions and findings.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance with FAA Part 145, FAA PMA, DCMA, and other requirements.
• Lead internal audits and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate management reviews and quality metrics reporting to leadership.
• Oversee document control and change management for QMS processes.
• Develop and deliver training on QMS, auditing, and continual improvement.
• Coordinate Nadcap accreditation programs and SME technical ownership.
