Job summary

Castelion in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to own and advance our AS9100-based quality management program across sites. You will lead internal and supplier audits, drive corrective actions, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to embed quality into the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in aerospace quality, compliance, or audit roles with AS9100 experience.
• Experience conducting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee AS9100 quality management system and certifications across sites.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal and external audits (registrars, customers, NADCAP as applicable).
• Lead corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Coordinate supplier audits and supplier quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
