Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Engineer – Aerospace Compliance and Audit to develop and maintain quality policies for FAA, AS9100, ISO 9000. The role leads audits, drives corrective actions, and ensures regulatory compliance across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier interfaces.

You will analyze data, communicate findings to stakeholders, and continuously improve the quality management system while upholding high standards in a fast-paced, global aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace quality standards AS9100/ISO9000.
• Knowledge of FAA requirements and compliance practices.
• Hands-on audits in regulated environments.
• Strong CAPA and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Data analysis for quality decisions and improvements.
• Customer-facing quality/engineering experience with clear communication.
• Understanding of aerospace quality engineering principles.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• High attention to detail and precise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies aligned with FAA, AS9100, and ISO 9000 standards.
• Plan, conduct, and document internal and external audits for ongoing compliance.
• Lead corrective action activities including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
• Interpret regulatory and customer requirements to ensure compliant processes.
• Perform data and requirements analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support FAA compliance activities and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Serve as a customer-facing quality representative and communicate status clearly.
• Support and improve the quality management system per AS9100 and ISO 9000.
• Promote culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
