Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to lead RCCA activities and maintain a robust quality management system.

The role includes audits, KPI development, and ESD program ownership to ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has aerospace-quality engineering experience, ASQ certifications, and strong data analytics skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering experience, preferably in an aerospace environment.
ASQ certifications: CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA, or CRE.
Lead Auditor certification for AS9100.
Experience developing KPI dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead RCCA using 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, Fishbone or equivalent methodologies.
Assign, track, and follow up with CAR owners for timely closure and robust containment.
Maintain CAR metrics, aging reports, and trend analyses for leadership review.
Serve as Lead Internal Auditor, conducting process, product, and system audits.
Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for quality, escapes, supplier performance, and COPQ.
Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, and Engineering to ensure grounding, flooring, and workstation controls.
Maintain and update controlled workspace specifications and environmental control requirements.
Generate post-audit reports including findings, strengths, risks, and systemic improvement recommendations.
