Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney AutoAir site in Lansing, MI is seeking a qualified Quality Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and QMS adherence to support overall product quality in aerospace components.

The role leads internal audits, drives corrective actions, and mentors the quality team while collaborating with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance to meet deliverables and sustain continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, Engineering or Compliance in regulated industries; OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years; OR Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures site activities comply with regulatory requirements.
• Upholds AS9100/AS9110/ISO 9001 and internal QMS procedures.
• Becomes expert in regulatory and QMS requirements and leads compliance.
• Manage internal and external audits and corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of product safety and quality across the organization.
• Lead and mentor the quality team for accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with safety, operations, engineering, materials and maintenance to meet deliverables.
• Lead training on regulatory and quality requirements as needed.
• Develop proactive quality initiatives and drive implementation.
• Lead Escape Management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
