Job summary

Paligen Technologies is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the QMS across AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001 compliance, ensuring safety and reliability of aerospace products from design through post-delivery support. You will head audits, drive CAPA, manage risk, mentor a team of quality professionals, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to embed quality in every process.

This executive role reports to the General Manager and requires extensive defense manufacturing quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 10+ years of Defense manufacturing quality experience with leadership in AS9100/ISO 9001 environments.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (FAA, EASA, DoD) and experience with manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience with forging, machining and metal forming operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic Quality Leadership & Compliance for AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001, and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure certification maintenance.
• Drive quality strategy aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Oversee CAPA and Audit Program to ensure manufacturing quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to integrate quality into product development and production.
• Lead Metallurgy Department oversight and ensure material testing meets defense standards.
