Job summary

Timken in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, is seeking a Senior Quality Technician Aerospace to own APQP/NPI and MOC processes across projects. You will lead customer submissions, manage FAI/PPAP activities, and drive quality improvements while mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating CAPAs, CP/Cpk analyses, MSA, and maintaining documentation in Timken systems. This role demands strong teamwork with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality with progressive responsibility.
Able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Experience with APQP, PPAP/FAI and MOC.

Responsibilities

Own and govern plant APQP/NPI and MOC processes for multiple projects.
Lead development and tracking of APQP schedules and milestones.
Manage FAI/PPAP submissions and customer communications.
Coordinate first article inspections and PPAP packages.
Plan and analyze Cp/Cpk, MSA and other statistical studies.
Mentor Quality staff and drive corrective actions.
