Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, MI is seeking a Quality Manager to direct the daily activities of the quality team, coach staff, and ensure product conformance across all stages of manufacturing.

You will oversee inspections, lead corrective actions, monitor standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001, and interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues. A Bachelor’s degree and prior supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Ability to work on 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of the quality team (assignments, coaching, performance reviews).
• Foster a culture of quality, safety, and accountability.
• Mentor staff on problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
• Oversee inspections across all stages with calibrated equipment.
• Ensure test plans and work instructions are current and followed.
• Review NCRs and disposition decisions.
• Monitor adherence to AS9100, ISO 9001, and DoD specs.
• Lead audits and support external audits (e.g., NIST, DoD).
