Job summary

Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA seeks a Quality Inspector to perform visual and manual hardware inspections across programs. You will assist in material flow, verify supplier certifications, and help manage labeling and non-conforming material.

You will support inspectors and engineers to improve processes, contribute to daily operations, and help the team succeed in a fast-paced environment. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• General Math Skills (Basic Algebra/Geometry).
• Intermediate Mechanical Aptitude and tolerancing concepts.
• GD&T experience with reading engineering drawings.
• Read/Write Ability to Understand Work Instructions.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and manual inspections for hardware of various programs.
• Assist with the flow of material through receiving inspection and non-conforming material processes.
• Act as a liaison between functions within the organization.
• Assist current inspectors and quality engineers to improve material flow.
• Support day-to-day operations and overall team success.
