Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and manual inspections of hardware, assist with receiving inspection, and help ensure material flow and labeling accuracy across programs. You will liaison between functions and support inspectors and engineers to improve processes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in a similar role, basic Microsoft Office, and understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate mechanical aptitude: tolerances & dimensional inspection concepts.
• GD&T familiarity reading drawings & symbols.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Preferred: machining experience; IPC-610/620/J-STD certifications; CMM program experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and manual inspections of hardware.
• Assist with the flow of material through receiving inspection and labeling.
• Act as a liaison between functions within the organization.
• Support inspectors and quality engineers to improve material flow.
• Aid day-to-day operations to support team success.
