The role emphasizes First Article Inspections (FAI), adherence to AS9100/ISO 9001, and collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve nonconformances.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or a similar regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 standards.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 requirements.
• Use measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, borescopes.
• Document nonconformances and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Maintain inspection records within QMS and ensure traceability.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent defects.
• Verify supplier-provided materials meet required certifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
