Job summary

CesiumAstro in Florida is seeking a Quality Inspector II to support manufacturing and quality operations by performing inspections, verifying conformity, and documenting results to meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

You will work cross-functionally with quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and supply chain to cover incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensure engineering specs are met, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Associate degree or formal training in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
0-3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or related field.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections per drawings and plans.
Verify dimensions, workmanship, materials, and documentation against specs.
Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and support containment activities.
Complete inspection records and QA documentation per QMS requirements.
Record inspection results and data to support quality reporting and traceability.
Support quality trend reporting and corrective action activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize inspection activities.
Communicate findings to appropriate personnel for timely resolution.
Support manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement through inspection data.
