Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate II to join our aerospace-focused team in a hands-on quality role. You will program and operate inspection equipment, handle nonconformances, calibrate tools, and ensure compliance with QMS and regulatory standards.

You will work cross-functionally with engineers and managers to improve inspection methods, drive corrective actions, and support data analysis and audits within a high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in manufacturing quality, metrology, and failure analysis.
• AS9100 or ISO 9001 experience preferred.
• Proficient reading of engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, specs.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control processes per products, manufacturing ops, and customer requirements.
• Inspect parts and assemblies with required tools per procedures and drawings.
• Perform measurements with calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and CMM/VMM equipment.
• Document inspection activities in electronic systems, logs, and labels.
• Assist with non-conforming material disposition (MRB).
• Schedule day-to-day quality activities ensuring timely turnaround.
