Job summary
CesiumAstro is seeking a Quality Inspector II to support manufacturing and quality operations through inspections, conformity verification, and documentation to meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards.
The role spans incoming, in-process, and final inspections, working with quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure products meet engineering specs and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of quality control, inspection methods, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to identify nonconformances and communicate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections per drawings and plans.
- Verify dimensions, workmanship, materials, and documentation against specs.
- Identify and report nonconformances; support containment and corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and traceability data.
- Assist with quality trend reporting and data for reviews.
- Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and supply chain.
