Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Quality Inspector II to support incoming, in-process, and final inspections. You will verify dimensions, materials, and documentation against engineering specs and customer requirements, documenting nonconformities and supporting containment.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and knowledge of inspection methods, QMS, and ERP systems. You will work cross-functionally with quality, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to uphold quality standards

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to engineering drawings and quality standards.
Verify dimensions, workmanship, materials, and documentation for conformance with specs.
Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and support containment activities.
Complete inspection records, reports, and nonconformance documents per QMS.
Record inspection data to maintain traceability and support quality reporting.
Support quality trend reporting and corrective actions with accurate data.
Collaborate across quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and supply chain on inspection activities.
Communicate findings and nonconformances to responsible teams for timely resolution.
Assist with implementing quality procedures to improve product quality and consistency.
