Job summary

York Space Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector II in Greenwood Village, CO to perform dimensional inspections and document conformance for production materials and components. You will support non-conformance processing, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, applying 8D/FMEA/ SPC methods, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong communication and QMS/ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in quality inspection/manufacturing in aerospace/defense.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Quality Management Systems (QMS), ERP, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection of components against drawings.
• Create inspection documentation and non-conformance reports.
• Support vendor material dispositions and non-conformance investigations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
