AST SpaceMobile in Midland, TX, is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II – Composites Integration to inspect composite structures, bonded assemblies, and avionics hardware used in satellite production.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation; performing in‑process and final inspections; and maintaining inspection records. Relocation to Midland is provided for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect composite and mechanical assemblies for dimensional conformance.
• Perform in-process, First Article (FAI), and final inspections in aerospace environments.
• Identify, document, and process nonconforming material reports (NCMRs).
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-depth inspections of composites, avionics hardware, and integrated satellite assemblies.
• Verify compliance to drawings, models, travelers, and inspection plans.
• Maintain accurate records in electronic and manual quality systems.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100, ESD, contamination control, and FOD-prevention requirements.
